I am from the beautiful state of Virginia. I have had a love for science ever since I was young. Which led to me trying to take as many science classes as I could growing up. This progressed into my college years where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Southern Virginia University. While attending SVU, I was awarded the Talmage internship from BYU to work for a summer in the Price Lab at BYU. The experiences I had in the Price Lab inspired me to further my education and pursue a PhD in Biochemistry at BYU. My current focus is on a collaborative project that deals with Microsampling to perform targeted proteomic analysis. In my free time I enjoy painting watercolors, reading, listening to music, and watching Korean dramas.
