Katie Brown

Katie is a molecular biology major entering her sophomore year at BYU. Her research focuses on how diet affects the regulation of proteostasis in the liver. She is also collaborating on a project that studies the antimicrobial peptide TclE and how it’s modified, which could lead to new antibiotic treatments. After BYU, she hopes to go to PA school and work in the medical field. Katie enjoys reading, playing soccer, and skiing with her family any chance she can get.
