My name is Chad Thompson and have been at BYU since January of 2016, after serving a mission in Edmonton Canada. I am studying Neuroscience and will graduate April 2021. I am planning on attending medical school and pursuing a career in Neurology. When I was 14 years old, my father passed away from a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor, and I have been interested in the brain ever since. In my free time, I watch a lot of baseball, basketball, and football, and also play a lot of golf and basketball. In the JC Price lab, I have studied Rheumatoid Arthritis and am currently transitioning into Alzheimer’s Disease.
